Riley MacKenzie Fund - Helping Animals and Their People

RMF & Kids

We provide education at the grammar school level with Certified Therapy Dogs to teach children how to properly care for animals, how to approach stray animals, and why it is important to spay and neuter animals. Currently we visit schools in Mecosta and Osceola Counties as well as children at Rose Lake Youth Camp. We also are on campus at Ferris State University for finals week.

Therapy Dog teams love to work with children at local libraries. Kids reading to dogs is a awesome program we participate in.

If you would like Therapy Dogs to come to your classroom or library please email us at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)

Over 30 dog and handler teams participate in this program. To see photos of all of the happy kids these dogs have visited see the Riley MacKenzie Fund on Facebook! Thank you Osceola and Mecosta County Community Foundations for supporting our program.
